Fund Benchmarking
Continual Improvement
Benchmarking is an important process for measuring success and value for money of a Private Finance Initiative or Public Private Partnership project. However, benchmarking a project at a high level with other comparable projects is currently difficult to achieve due to the relatively short and shallow history of private infrastructure funds. Benchmarking at a lower level, of asset costs and asset performance, is more redily feasible and has been a focus of apm.
We have been supporting our clients since 1999 in a process of continual benchmarking and improvement of Asset Performance and reduction of Asset Costs, leading to increased earnings via performance-penalty schemes and reduced costs via improved combined maintenance and capital works planning.
